Governor Kritsi Noem of South Dakota Handles COVID19 without Sacrifycing Freedom

Governor Kristi Noem chose not to close businesses, churches, and schools over COVID19 Kristi Noem says she honestly didn't expect to be the only Governor in the United States not to close businesses, churches, and schools over COVID19. She saw that nowhere in any Federal or State law did such authority reside. On the contrary, America's founding documents expressly forbade it. So she explained to the people of South Dakota and to all local officials that the State Government was going to trust the people to make their own decisions. The State would provide them with all available information, but the people would act as they thought was best. What a novel concept! But it's just common sense. The manner in which Governor Noem handled COVID19 was a great selling point for South Dakota It turns out, the manner in which Governor Noem handled COVID19 was a great selling point for South Dakota to attract new businesses and talented people from California, New York, Minnesota, and from all over the United States. 'If they want a government that respects them,' Noem says, 'they should move to South Dakota.' That appeals to people thinking, 'I want to live somewhere where my kids can be in the classroom, life is normal, and the government knows its role.' South Dakota's unemployment is the lowest in the Nation, 2.9%, and its GDP growth is nearly 10%. Other leaders caused great harm to their citizens by taking away their freedoms. Other leaders caused great harm to their citizens by taking away their freedoms. At the outset of the pandemic, Governor Noem said, "What happened to so many leaders was that they lost perspective. They got caught up in the fear of it, and the unknown of it, and they completely lost perspective of what their job was, what their role was." (She could be talking about California's Governor, among others.) What shocked her the most about the response to lockdown orders in other states was "to watch people just comply when it was so dramatically and detrimentally impacting their families." Kristi Noem's steady hand didn't panic, nor did it use the crisis as a pretext for a "power grab." She exercised the wise self-restraint of a true leader. She's optimistic that people will see what worked and what didn't work and make political choices accordingly. The good news is that freedom works. Rising Jew-Hatred in the USA 2021: American Judenhass

It seems strange that it was only 14 months ago that we lived with a feeling of relative safety. One day we awoke to news of Iranian supplied Hamas deadly rocket-fire (more than 4,000) from the Gaza strip into the rest of Israel.  Soon, the social media outlets and Progressive-left seemed to promote a wave of increased Jew-hatred and violence against American Jews that has left us feeling bereft of trust in the society in which we once felt so safe. Note that we use the term Jew-hatred and not Anti-Semitism, the latter which a German developed to sound more scientific and palatable and less evil than the actual meaning requires. This term anti-Semitism is particularly inappropriate because the term Semites includes people of the Middle East. When other people from the Middle East commit the acts of Jew-hatred, the term anti-Semitism is completely appropriate.  “The term “anti-Semite” was coined in Germany in 1879 by Wilhelm Marr in his pamphlet “The Way to Victory of Germanicism over Judaism” to refer to the anti-Jewish manifestations of the period and to give Jew-hatred a more scientific sounding name. According to historian Deborah Lipstadt, instead of using the word “Judenhass” – hatred of Jews – he chose “Antisemitismus” – hatred of the Jewish race. Lipstadt says he wanted an “all-encompassing word: a word that would include Jews who were no longer practicing the religion, Jews who might even have converted – because he also was influenced by the idea that it was in your blood.”” https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/anti-semitism-or-antisemitism.  Over the past 11 days, we have seen increased anti-Israel sentiment and Jew-hatred over social media, in the news outlets, in politics, and within the entertainment industry.  A 2021 Tel Aviv University study showed Jew-hatred increased during the pandemic, and it followed online. The media outlets downplayed this, and people generally don’t think there is Jew-hatred. American Jewish anxiety has increased from online conspiracy theories to the localized attacks on Jews, such as vandalism, arson, and the threat of personal harm.  However, most of the Jew-hatred originates among the political left wing, contrary to many’s incorrect perceptions. Time for Democrats to Address their Jew-Hatred Problem. Growing up Jewish in California, I falsely believed that we lived in a diverse society in which we were safe from racial bias and Jew-hatred. I have been active in the Jewish Community all of my life and a corporate professional for over 20 years. I grew up and raised my children to be both proud Americans and proud Zionists and Jews. When I recall my childhood, the Bay Area seemed an idyllic hamlet, in which we could live together as friends with people of all races and skin tones. The first true Jew-hatred experience scorched into my 12-year-old mind was when the synagogue that I attended burned due to vandalism, which caused significant damage to the structure and shattering my sense of safety. As of 2019, Violence against Jews exceeds all other groups in the USA except for Gays (24.46 per 100,000) and transgenders (17.77). For comparison, violence against Jews stands at 16.55 per 100,000 people, compared to 5.44 for Blacks, and 0.59 for Arabs.  FBI Hate Crimes 2019 During the recent Mideast conflict, American Jews felt silenced and bullied by the media, their neighbors, and friends to side with Hamas in the un-warranted attack on Israel. Young people in particular, were threatened and verbally accosted if their views did not align with those who supported the attacks on Israel by Hamas. Supporters held peaceful Pro-Israel rallies throughout the World to show support for Israel, the Jewish homeland, and educate people on the history of the region.  Further, supporters tried to reveal the truth about this particular clash that the media wasn’t showing, and as a show of Jewish solidarity across the World. We attended a local Pro-Israel rally, during which non-Jews, Jews, and Israeli’s stood together to promote peace. Though anti-Israel protestors tried to incite violence, the Pro-Israel attendees maintained a peaceful stance and did not engage in any violence. In contrast, Pro-Palestinian rallies have promoted aggression and violence towards Jews and Pro-Israel supporters. There has been increased pressure from media, politicians and entertainers to “stand with Palestine” against Israel. In the past few days, we have seen video footage of assaults on innocent Jewish Americans from NYC, NJ, and LA in which people were specifically targeted by hoodlums donning the Palestinian flag, chanting “Death to Jews” and “Allahu Akbar”. Diners in an outdoor cafe in LA were asked if they were Jewish, and when the diner responded with “yes”, they were physically assaulted by a gang of Pro-Palestinian Jew-haters.  Even though these incidents are in Southern CA, the Northern California Jews still feel on edge about their safety. We don’t feel comfortable flying the Israeli flag, or announcing that we are Jewish by what we wear or where we go. I have even started to carry pepper spray on my key chain to protect myself in case of racial attacks. Finally, our enemies stole our sense of safety. Last night, my 23-year-old daughter and her friends went to dinner in downtown Palo Alto, an area known for its world-class university, expensive real estate, diverse population, and relative safety for night strolls and dining. While at an outdoor Jewish-owned cafe, a large group of Pro-Palestinians rioters marched down University avenue, verbally assaulting and harassing the group of friends. Loud chants and drums besieged diners, screamed by aggressive thugs who trespassed into the gated outdoor dining area, stood directly over sitting customers, and accused them of being racists and baby-killers if they would not side with Hamas against Israel. Many threatened diners felt scared for their lives and fled. Eventually, the riotous gang left and moved on to bully other customers and drive them away from the Jewish business. Why do the general public, so-called “liberal” politicians, the Democrat party, and mainstream media shield and elevate these violent purported “activists” and not protect the innocent Jewish citizens and businesses? It seems to me that when we allow these violent activities to occur and fail to stand against Jew-hatred, it will continue to fester and grow.  As Jew hatred spikes, many Jews wonder, 'Where are our allies"?     Continue reading

Critical Race Theory

What are your children really being taught in school? Critical Race Theory and Critical Ethnic Studies Explained Let us summarize what proponents of the "Critical Race Theory" purport to teach. What type of discrimination judges someone solely based on the color of their skin? Racism What type of discrimination judges someone solely by their religious affiliation or beliefs? Religious Discrimination What type of discrimination judges someone solely based on their nationality or ethnic origin? Xenophobia What type of discrimination judges someone solely based on their gender? Gender discrimination What type of discrimination judges someone solely based on their political beliefs? Ideological Discrimination What type of discrimination judges someone solely based on their socioeconomic status? Economic or Social Discrimination How would you react if you found out that your child was being subjected to these forms of discrimination on a daily basis? How would you react if you knew these forms of discrimination were being promoted and taught by the very people who were supposed to educate your children in a positive and uplifting manner, their teachers? Would you allow this type of discriminatory instruction to continue or would you demand that this type of negative curriculum be banned from your child’s school? This is Critical Race Theory. Now let’s explore this divisive curriculum a little further. Critical Race Theory, or CRT, was never meant to be taught to young children. It was developed in the 1970s by several scholars, most prominently Derrick Bell, an African American civil rights lawyer and the first black man to teach at Harvard Law School. It was developed in response to what Bell and the other scholars felt were dangerously slow-moving gains, if not an actual reversal of gains, in regards to the civil rights movement, especially when it came to the country’s legal system. In short, it examines and evaluates societal systems through a racial lens. Born from the ideas of CRT, is a concept called Critical Ethnic Studies, or CES. Like CRT, CES also views societal systems through a racial lens but goes a step further by promoting the concepts of institutional or systemic racism, as well as perceived racial privilege and so-called white supremacy. CES teaches students that the best way to fight back against capitalism is through militant resistance or decolonization. It promotes Marxist militants as role models, including Lolita Lebron, a Puerto Rican nationalist who led an armed group to attack the House of Representatives in 1954, Oscar Lopez Rivera, who led a Marxist-Leninist organization responsible for bombing over 100 U.S. cities, and Yuri Kochiyama, a Maoist advocate who admired Osama bin Laden and Al Queda, while omitting positive role models such as Thurgood Marshall, the first Black Supreme Court Justice, Frederick Douglas, an abolitionist known for his powerful antislavery writings and orations, and Senator Daniel Inouye, the first Japanese American in the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate. CES is now being implemented in grade levels K-12 across the nation and in some cases, becoming a required course for high school graduation. The end goal of the people who promote CES, is to have this type of instruction become a part of the curriculum in every subject area. Currently, Bill Gates is funding a project called “Equitable Math,” which seeks to show how white supremacy shows up in math classes. According to the writers of the Equitable Math curriculum, white supremacy in mathematics shows up when children focus on getting the correct answer, are told to work independently, have answers marked as “incorrect,” or are required to show their work just to name a few. While not all of the concepts in “Equitable Math” are wrong, and in some cases even offer ideas on how to improve the teaching of mathematics in the classroom, its biggest problem comes from its core belief that all problems students face in math come from white supremacy rather than a multitude of other, more basic issues like poor teaching or individual responsibility. Furthering this concept, some schools are trying to, or have already started to stop testing altogether, stating that testing is “racist” because certain groups of children, usually based solely on their skin color, do not test as well as other groups. In other schools, honors or advanced classes are now being labeled as “racist” for the same reason, and are, therefore abolished. These ideologies are in and of themselves, RACIST. CES uses blatant discrimination to break children apart into groups based on their race, religion, and class. Based on those groupings, it further identifies children as either being the OPPRESSED or the OPPRESSOR, and often identifies the OPPRESSORS as white supremacists. It is important to note that a curriculum based on CES actually comes with a warning label, “may cause trauma.” While CES claims to talk about intersectionality or the concept that everyone has their own unique experiences of discrimination and oppression, it oftentimes omits any intersectionality that does not fit the narrative of white supremacy as the core of all problems. CES openly states that white children are the only people who can be racist and because of the color of their skin, are automatically born privileged, despite ay other hardships they may have to endure in their lives, and are born inherently racist. Therefore, white children are told they are the OPRESSORS. This same labeling is also sometimes applied to lighter skinned black and Latino students as well as children from inter-racial or inter-ethnic couples. In contrast, CES teaches that black people can never be racist, because they are the “victims” of white people and a foundational system in America that was created by white people, and threfore, are OPRESSED. Both of these ideologies are in and of themselves, racist, as they solely judge children by the color of their skin. So, how is your child being judged by their teachers and peers on a daily basis? In CES, children are forced to complete worksheets that enable them to determined just how “racist” or “privileged” they are based on various characteristics. Some of those characteristics include: Whether you are Male or Female (White males are the most racist children of all) Your gender identity (Or how your feelings about your identity match up with the sex you were assigned at birth) Your religious background Christianity and Judaism are looked at as the most racist religions of all, despite the many races that practice both religions. Jews are not only viewed as colonizers of Israel and oppressors of Palestine, but they are also seen as having white privilege, despite the holocaust by Europe and the population not having yet recovered after 75 years. Futher, they attack the Jews for their alleged dominance in education, business, entertainment, and science. If you are organized If you get good grades If you ask too many questions If you disagree with anything you’re being taught (Also known as microaggressions) If you are arrogant or too confident If you come from a Two-parent household If your parents own their home If your parents speak English If you speak English If you are a U.S. citizen If your parents own their own busines Your socioeconomic status Notice that NONE of these criteria include your child’s interests, character, individuality, or personality. CES focuses on superficial characteristics to prejudge children and break children into groups. CES makes unfair determinations on who they are as people. Asian and Jewish children are considered “white-adjacent.” To sum things up, CES seeks to fight actual or perceived discrimination and racism, with real discrimination and racism. Other programs founded in CRT principles include the 1619 Project and Teaching Hard History. There is a better way. There is there a better way to address these sensitive topics without further dividing, blaming, or harming children in the process. California Bill AB-2016: Objective of Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum (ESMC) states that teachers should “prepare pupils to be global citizens with an APPRECIATION for the contributions of multiple cultures.” Constructive Ethnic Studies In contrast to Critical Ethnic Studies, focuses on and explores the true experiences, histories, cultures, struggles, and accomplishments of specific ethnic or racial groups within American history and society, and seeks to promote healing through empathy, appreciation, understanding, positive discussion, and educating children on multiple perspectives. What you can do. Join school boards or attend school board meetings and ask for a Public Review Process to SEE the curriculum, DEMAND transparency, and PROMOTE positive curriculum rather than divisive curriculum Educate yourself further on CRT topics and curriculum or join support groups including ACES, FAIR, What Are They Learning, FIRE, Parent Union, No Left Turn in Education Write to legislators Pay attention to what your children are learning in class Speak up against cancel culture Write letters to the editor to local papers Submit letters to the State Board of Education and to your Governor Talk to other parents and teachers, SPREAD THE WORD   Continue reading

Open Letter To Rep Jackie Speier

You shocked the San Mateo County Republican Party with your recent Tweet “The Republicans have been calling Democrats the radical left. Time to call Republicans the terrorist right?”. The Merriam-Webster definition of a terrorist is someone who practices or is involved in acts of violence. You acted recklessly and divisively by labeling all law-abiding Republicans as terrorists, including those who denounced the violence on January 6th, who participated peacefully in demonstrations, or simply did not attend. The term radical left that you conjured is actually a reference to political ideology, is neither an assassination of character nor does it incite others to violent attacks. We expect you as a government leader to be rational, not inflammatory, especially considering all the challenges presented in 2020. Your outrageous allegations are entirely inconsistent with President Biden’s commitment to representing all Americans and his call for unity. Unfortunately, your characterization of Republicans suggests the opposite, and the lives of 63,681 registered Republicans (also your constituents), and many Americans, may now be at risk of being physically and verbally harmed or treated unfairly. Sadly, your Tweet has damaged any perception of you as an inclusive leader in San Mateo County. Your apology is warranted. We are disheartened that the suffering endured under COVID-19 was insufficient to have you focus on “We are all in this together”. Instead, you chose a path that excludes those who hold different beliefs and political ideology from you who, at the same time, constitute a group you committed to serve and represent. We in San Mateo County will continue to work in unity and help support local small businesses, our neighbors, and our families through their emotional sufferings and economic hardships irrespective of political differences.   Sincerely, The San Mateo County Republican Party We need your help to push back against the divisive Democrats! We have many ways you can help. 1. Please consider a donation of $25, $50, $100, or more through our website. Every bit helps! 2. Please volunteer. We need you now!

Member Report on Suspicious Voting in Nevada

After the November 2020 Presidential election, one of our members went to Nevada to investigate suspicious voting patterns. They worked with Election Integrity Project and the Nevada Republican Party who supplied them with a list of voters to contact. These were voters who were recorded as having voted by mail by the Nevada Secretary of State. What they found was alarming and counters the narrative that "vote fraud doesn't happen". Here is their report. Continue reading

We've endorsed the effort to recall Governor Gavin Newsom

At our organizational meeting on January 14th, 2021 we voted unanimously to officially endorse the effort to recall Governor Gavin Newsom. The campaign is in the signature gathering phase at the moment. We encourage you to go to Recall Gavin 2020 to download, print, sign and return the petition. His destructive reign of terror is unparalleled in California history. No single person has worked harder to damage our state than Newsom. From his endless, politically motivated lockdowns, to his inconsistent directives for public and private school reopenings, to his favoring of large businesses over small ones, to his freeing of dangerous criminals from jail, to his coddling of illegal aliens, to his constant fighting with the Trump administration, to his support for morally degenerate classroom curricula, his transgressions are many. A few important points to consider: You must be registered to vote at the address you enter. You may include more than one person on the form, however they all must be registered to vote in the same county. If the signatures on the same form are from voters who live in different counties, the entire form will be disregarded and those signatures will not count. You must cross out all instances of "2020" on the petition and replace it with "2021" before returning it or else your signature will not be counted.   If you live in San Mateo County and do not have a printer, or have other questions, please contact [email protected] for assistance.

Support Your Police Department

Greetings! As our nation engages in an unfortunate partisan and radical debate over the role of our law enforcement with calls to "Defund the Police", we are thankful that one of our volunteers chose to step up and create a way that all of us can show our support for the men and women in blue. Our Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) put their lives at risk every day in order to keep our families safe. Their family members know all too well that when their LEO loved ones leave for their shift, it could be the last time they ever see them. In the meantime, they go about their business just as you and I would in our every day work lives as leaders of our community and role models for our children knowing the dangers they face daily. We grieve for every unnecessary death in our country and are optimistic that our police force and leaders will work to create solutions that minimize mistakes while making it safer for our LEOs when they are in the field. With that, we'd like to ask you to please take just a moment to write your local representatives and offer your support for the brave men and women of law enforcement. Each link below will take you to a respective City Council email list and allows you to send a form email or personalize it as you wish. We offer our thanks to Daryl Jones for his effort in creating this great opportunity to support our law enforcement. https://supportyourpd.org/atherton https://supportyourpd.org/belmont https://supportyourpd.org/brisbane https://supportyourpd.org/broadmoor https://supportyourpd.org/burlingame https://supportyourpd.org/colma https://supportyourpd.org/dalycity https://supportyourpd.org/eastpaloalto https://supportyourpd.org/fostercity https://supportyourpd.org/hillsborough https://supportyourpd.org/menlopark https://supportyourpd.org/pacifica https://supportyourpd.org/redwoodcity https://supportyourpd.org/sanbruno https://supportyourpd.org/sancarlos https://supportyourpd.org/sanmateo https://supportyourpd.org/southsanfrancisco https://supportyourpd.org/sanmateocounty
