Today's Action Issue:
As part of California's budget crisis, the Property Tax Postponement Program was indefinitely suspended . The program previously allowed many low income senior citizens to postpone paying property taxes until they were deceased and it could be paid from their estate. The end result is that thousands of California senior citizens may result in being homeless. Think this is unfair, write to some of your state leaders:
